100th Day of School

Written by Mr. Chris Ciatti, Kindergarten Teacher

Monday February 10th, we celebrated the 100th day of school here at St. Peter. It is a special milestone where students, teachers, and staff reflect on all the learning and achievements made so far. This day is often filled with activities that highlight the number 100, such as counting to 100, creating crafts, or performing 100-themed challenges. It helps students recognize how far they’ve come in their studies while making learning engaging and enjoyable.

During the celebration, students dressed up like they were 100 years old and what a sight it was! It was a great opportunity for teachers to incorporate math and literacy exercises related to the number 100, further reinforcing the concept of numbers in a fun, hands-on way. Overall, this year’s 100 Days of School celebration brought excitement and energy to the classroom, fostering a sense of accomplishment and enthusiasm for the rest of the school year.
