Middle School Mathematics
In order to learn students must use their whole body. Listening, writing, reading, and teaching their peers are ways to help students learn and remember the information that they are being taught. The best way to engage a student is to have well planned lessons that are grounded in relevant and purposeful activities that motivate students to learn. In my classroom many of the lessons involve games, moving around the room while working on mathematical challenges, having discussions with peers about math, and of course reading and writing math independently. Math is a challenging subject but it can also be fun and engaging
