Band & Strings
Ms. Kim Mortise, Instrumental Music Director, leads our students in grades 1 through 8 in SPS Band and Strings, where they are discovering the joy of making music! Whether you’re picking up a violin, ukulele, flute, drum sticks or bass for the first time or building on your skills, these lessons are perfect for musicians of all levels. Learn proper techniques, play beautiful melodies, and perform as part of a group. Our fun and supportive environment will help you develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of music. Let’s create something magical together! Lessons take place weekly during the school day on Thursdays.

Chorus
Mr. Ray Barry, Music teacher, leads our students in grades 2 through 8 in SPS Chorus, which is all about singing, teamwork, and having fun with music. Learn vocal techniques, harmonize with others, and perform songs that inspire and entertain. Whether you’re a budding soloist or love singing in a group, this is the perfect place to explore your musical talents and make new friends. Together, we’ll create music that brings joy to everyone who hears it! Our Chorus also leads us all in song at our weekly Masses and may also be performing at various community events around Lewiston! Chorus meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm.
